6 bottles of "classic" wine choices -
1 - Haut Rian Bordeaux Blanc, France
A clean and elegant white wine, the Bordeaux Blanc is made from a blend of 60% Semillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc, with the Semillon adding weight and certain texture to the crisp, zesty and grassy character of the Sauvignon Blanc.
2 - Domaine Chevalier Chablis, France
Golden yellow in colour, this wine has layered aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruits. On the palate, it has a rich and creamy texture and good levels of balancing acidity. The acclaimed touch of minerality and lingering finish are also characteristics of this Chablis.
3 - Cave de Hunawihr, `Klevner` Pinot Blanc Réserve, France
A blend of micro-parcels from the Hunawihr vineyards, the Pinot Blanc grapes are selected individually to ensure the very best quality. On the palate, the wine is rich and silky, a lovely bouquet of lemon and pear continues on the long finish.
4 - Allegrini, Valpolicella, Italy
This Valpolicella from the hills of the Classico area is a delicious example of the wine this area is famous for. Corvina expresses its vibrant and quaffable character with fresh and bright cherry flavours.
